The recipe was chosen by
Cakelaw, an Aussie lawyer and baker. Her blog will have today's recipe in it. I couldn't decide on one filling so I did 2 smaller versions:
1) apple apricot
2) pear cranberry
I also rolled the crust out on s bed of sugar for added sweetness. The rich, smooth custard smell was intoxicating. I nibbled at the bits of custard that seeped out of the spring form pan and baked onto the cookie sheet beneath it.
Both versions lookand sound devine. They are so cute! Thanks for baking along this week.
