TWD: Honey Cornmeal Biscuits
First off, I want to apologize for not commenting much on everyone's TWD posts the past few weeks. I have not been baking as much as I like either because I have been really busy with buying an apartment and the long list of associated things to do with homebuying! I am no longer a "property virgin"!This week, Lindsay from A Little Something Sweet chose Maple Cornmeal Biscuits on page 24 of Baking: From My Home to Yours. I used honey instead of maple syrup and was very pleased with the results. They were sweet, tender and overall pretty darn addictive. Mine turned out more cakey and muffin-like than biscuit-like in texture but they were still delicious.

Mmmm! I am sure the honey was a fabulous sub! They look very yummy.
They look like delectable little muffin tops! Must be perfect with coffee. :)
Honey is always a great choice and so is cornmeal! Delish! Congrats on your home purchase. The Roasted Veggie Rolls look yummy. Have a great day.
I love honey, good choice! Yours look almost exactly like mine, but I over baked mine so they were dry and not fluffy.
Honey is a great choice.
They look like muffin tops - I love 'em! And congrats on your new apartment! :)
Loved these! I'm glad the honey worked out for you.
Congrats on your property purchase! Your biscuits look great, and honey would be nice in these.
Honey sounds like a delicious variation. Congratulations on your new apartment! It will be fun.
Your biscuits look so perfect and round - how did you do that? Congratulations on the new place!
Congrats on your first home purchase. That's a huge step.
Honey would be a great sub in these without relinquishing the subtle sweet flavor.
